The Fall/Winter 2017 Collection of BASUS, the city life, nature and architecture inspired French brand, manages to merge fresh contemporary design with sensible utilitarian spirit. The clothes do not try to reinvent the wheel in any sense but the ease of fit as well as the draping feel almost like a throwback to simpler times when clothes added dimension to the individual instead of making that individual look like some sort of caricature of mannishness. There are also healthy servings of athleisure components to the collection that give the apparel a transitional/versatile character. The color palette used in the collection is subtly vivid with grays, blacks, oranges and blues used in well calculated quantities and locations to great effect. See it below.
