He’s one of the most respected American menswear designers and his eponymous brand, Ernest Alexander continues to gain relevance every year. It’s actually interesting to note that this brand actually started with the quest to design the perfect men’s messenger bag. Five years later, the brand has developed into a full menswear label with a selective and composed array of menswear staples. The next evolution of the brand has arrived in the form of their second brick and mortar location in San Francisco.
The new shop is located in the Hayes Valley area and the store was designed by Ernest Sabine himself. It features design elements like dark stained wood and copper piping delivered in a clean and classic presentation. To commemorate the new store opening, the NY-based designer also created a special Made in USA collection that will only be available in the San Francisco shop.
The next time you are in SF, be sure to check it out. The store’s address is: 327 Hayes Street.
