There’s a reason why designer Michael Bastian is such a revered menswear designer. He has mastered the concepts of American Sportswear, Ivy League prep and unforced layering, and he mixes these themes to produce something innovative and exciting with each new collection. For his Pre-Spring 2014 GANT collection, he borrows inspiration from American studio photographer Mike Disfarmer and creates looks that are part countryside, part Martha’s Vineyard, laced with elements of Hampton’s easiness and schoolboy prep. As usual, the styling is superb, as you can see for yourself in the slideshow above.
