The Joanna Startek S/S 2015 Collection is a journey into traditional menswear with a stylistic modern twist.  Inspired by the work of Belgian photographer of architecture, Filip Dujardin, the palette is subtle and unthreatening (except for some flashes of bright yellow strategically placed that create a rouse effect).  The collection plays with shapes and color with arithmetic playfulness and a sense of ease that allows you to surrender all your stuffiness and just chill. The graphical aesthetic of the clothes and the pinpoint styling of the combinations are fresh and youthful.  The collection delivers a minimalist but impressionable atmosphere that is true to the designer’s interior decorator background and her fascination with minimal/conceptual art.  The silhouettes are understated but still pack a strong punch.  Items in the collection are functional and essential in every man’s closet.  Follow this brand on Facebook to keep abreast with its happenings.  See pieces from the collection below.
