The EMM group has done it again. The popular hospitality entity behind successful Manhattan restaurants like The General and CATCH is back with a Latin-themed eatery called La Cenita (the little dinner). The executive chef at this new restaurant is Chef Akhtar Nawab, who used to ply his trade at NYC favorites like La Esquina and Craft. The menu consists of updated and inventive Mexican dishes & small plates, all made with locally sourced ingredients.
Some of the dinner specials you can look forward to enjoying are the sumptuous Langosta Taco with Poblano Cream; their delicious Lamb Barbacoa Taco with Crispy Cheese, Charred Octopus with Quinoa, and the mouth-watering Pollo with Mole Negro, Black Beans and Sesame Seeds. The dessert menu is overseen by Pastry Chef Thiago Silva, and you’ll find many sweet delights like their must-have Coconut Fried Rice Pudding with Mango Sorbet and their Candied Cilantro,
The restaurant occupies a 240-seat, bi-level space and features a modern and inviting interior, along with a communal, energetic ambience. For Latin-inspired merrymaking these Holidays, La Cenita should certainly be on your list.
La Cenita is located at 409 W. 14th Street in NYC.
