After presenting the advertising campaign and the exciting soon to launch custom tailoring line with Dapper Dan, Gucci is back in the news with its dapper design upgrade Apollo Leather sneaker.
First seen in the Cruise18 collection with a classic total white colorway, the Florentine brand now has a new version. The made-in-Italy sneaker finished with Gucci’s signature graphic logo and typography – distinctive element of the Maison. Entirely made in leather, the Apollo silhouette recalls the elevated and oversized shape – the sneaker trend of the season.
Alessandro Michele’s two-and-a-half year reign so far at Gucci has increased the bottom line, with the brand reporting record sales. ‘Injecting color, fur and embroidery, appliqués, embellishments, and artisanal touches (sometimes all of the above on the same garment) added to everything from sweatshirts (see below what we at here SNC refer to as the Wolf Of All Street Gucci Sweat Shirt) to black-tie dinner jackets.’ Michele has brought the house back to white-hot status.
