The house that Jean Touitou built continues to grow and spread its wings. His long-running brand, A.P.C. is known for carrying some of the smartest and expertly constructed menswear separates in the industry. Their trench coats are perennial favorites around these parts and their sturdy selvedge jeans are highly sought after by rockers, rappers and style-savvy Wall Street workers. We are also big fans of their limited edition Sustain cologne which is just so extremely hard to find anywhere. (If you track down a bottle, or even a refill – please let us know, we might just buy it off you).
The latest A.P.C. news we have to report is their new shop that just opened on Bond Street (between Lafayette & Bowery) in downtown NYC. It is the first 2-level boutique in the United States, and it features a sleek, minimalistic design orchestrated in collaboration with architect, Laurent Deroo. The wood structures in the store are expertly crafted from pale oak with accents of brushed aluminum.
The exact address is 49 Bond Street, and you can see more shots in the slideshow above.
