Aimé Leon Dore is a NYC, luxury streetwear brand that hasn’t put a foot wrong since it launched a few years ago. In actuality, ALD reminds us of cool French brands like Pigalle and AMI. It’s all about streamlined collections with unique style touches, and a dependence on classic silhouettes like topcoats, bomber jackets, satin team jackets, track jackets, crewneck sweaters and logo varsity jackets.
For the Holidays, the NYC brand just launched a cool pop-up store in Nolita at 179 Mott Street. The design is sparse and minimal, and it also features a photography exhibition by NYC photographer, Andrew Jacobs. Also this is one of those stores you need to keep on checking out – new product and sneakers will be released every week right up till the day it closes, Dec 23rd.
