Alexander Wang’s A/W 2015 collection is a PhD lesson in prints done correctly. The clothes are a mishmash of patterns and textures that mysteriously go extremely well together. There is a sense of tailored rebellion that ties the whole collection together. Tapered pants, disruptive sweaters, textured/patterned suits, easy t-shirts, bulky shoes and a variety of jackets create a feeling of very organized confusion. Some duffel bags give the looks an added twist that turns out to be also quite important. One must give a huge kudos to this collection that causes you to scratch your head while reaching for your wallet. There seems to be a renaissance of sorts occurring in men’s fashion where originality and individuality is being woven seamlessly into collections that strangely also have commercial appeal.
