In the spirit of Halloween, we wanted to let you in on a movie opening this week that we’ll be checking out. It’s a new thriller called, The Snowman, and it features a very impressive cast: Michael Fassbender, Chloe Sevigny, Val Kilmer and Charlotte Gainsbourg. The story revolves around a brutal serial killer who literally uses pieces of his deceased victims to create menacing snowmen. It looks to be a psychological thriller in the tradition of “Silence of the Lambs,” The movie’s other highlight is the sweeping Nordic landscape that serves as the scenic backdrop for the film.
