Boris Bidjan Saberi Flagship – NYC
Written by: Staff

After making a name for himself in Europe, luxury menswear designer Boris Bidjan Saberi is ready to cause some huge waves in NYC. The half-German, half-Iranian designer makes his home in Barcelona, and he has developed a very loyal following of shoppers who clamor for his brand’s meticulous sophistication and functional dimensions. There is a definite streetwear edge & skate culture influence in all his collections, and some of his dark and intricate creations have resulted in comparisons to Rick Owens and Ann Demeulemeester.

The Boris Bidjan Saberi flagship was opened last month, and it’s a beautiful 2,100 square foot space that houses the brand’s complete collection of men’s and women’s ready-to-wear. It features a custom-designed interior with custom gallery lighting, dark aged-wood floors and industrial chain-link hang racks. Some of the pieces you’ll find here are cult BBS favorites like their J1 Oiled Book Leather Jacket, Waxed/Pressed/Resinated Jeans and the Open-Seamwork Horse Leather Jacket.

When the designer was asked about his new flagship, he answered with the following, “New York is a city that is very close to the energy of our own brand. Urban and edgy, powerful but refined.”

The Boris Bidjan Saberi store is located at: 494 Greenwich Street.
