Comeforbreakfast S/S 2015
Written by: Kwesi Adjin

Comeforbreakfast is an independent ready-to-wear label created in 2009 in Milan, Italy by creative duo Antonio Romano and Francesco Alagna (the duo can be seen directly below) that produces both a men’s and women’s line.  Antonio handles most of the actual designs and Francesco handles the marketing within the brand.  Antonio graduated with a degree in Design from Polimoda in Florence and Francesco has degrees in Industrial Design and Fashion Buying from Marangoni.  Commercial success with a unique perspective was a major part of the duo’s goal from the onset.  Both Antonio and Francesco exude dedication to detail and a minimalist approach that give the brand legs to gallop into the future.

Comeforbreakfast’s Spring/Summer 2015 Collection is whimsical, strange, and colorful – it is definitely a conversation starter.  The playful nature of the prints (with random Basquiat-esque doodles/drawings), the shocking vinyl pieces, the splashes of reds and yellows, the meshed polo surprises, and the dramatic play on proportions make this collection a high level, playful, but serious game.  Ensembles of this collection are not for everyone, but there is so much that can be done with individual pieces.  No matter how you slice it, the collection is modern and you need to pay attention to the fellas from Comeforbreakfast.  The looks were photographed by  Lorenzo Dalbosco and styled by Lorenzo Posocco.  Below is a jacket, t-shirt and shorts combo that we believe has a lot of merits.
