Japanese Magazine Lightning had the balls to dig into the archives of Danner’s immense history and pull out a doozy for a collab. The 8068 boots that Danner hadn’t manufactured for several years was the chosen one – it is back now in its full glory with a higher stem (8 inches compared to the previous six inches: size matters). The boots have a slightly distressed combat-like fashionable look that insinuates, you could be a hipster, or maybe a young veteran – keep them guessing. Horween leather is used generously throughout the design with Cordura nylon and a Vibram sole. The lining throughout the boot is Gore-Tex to ensure that no water ever gets in. Only 200 of these beauties were created so make sure to at least try and grab a pair here.
