There was a lot riding on Kim Jones when he left his position as men’s creative director at Louis Vuitton to become the artistic director at Dior. His first Dior show earlier this year was considered a huge success. It featured accessories by Yoon Ambush, star-studded A-list guests including Skepta & A$AP Rocky, and a giant-sized central character by renowned artist KAWS.

After that noteworthy show, the campaign is finally here. It was shot by American  photographer Steven Meisel, and the KAWS character BFF makes another appearance too. But aesthetics aside, let’s talk about the clothes; for Dior SS19, we see appealing monochromatic looks, free-flowing lightweight trenches, tailored looks with a streetwear approach, and precise laser-cut detailing on jackets and accessories.
