The name “Ghurka” historically refers to the elite branch of Nepalese soldiers in World War II known for their extreme bravery and unwavering courage. That name and sentiment was transferred to the heritage leather accessories brand started in Norfolk, Connecticut in 1975. Fast forward many years later, Ghurka has just unveiled their new Fall 2016 collection under the helm of their new Creative Director, Kathy Formby. What you’ll see in the collection is a range of leather goods ranging from wallets to expertly-designed luxury weekenders and casual totes. All these accessories were crafted in Tuscany, Italy using top-notch materials and the time-honored craftsmanship techniques.
Prices for these luxe goods range from $600 all the way to $36,000 for a plush Alligator backpack. See the full collection (including some really dope camo bags) here.
