Fourth of November, the brand led by certified OG and co-founder of Roc-A-Fella Records, Kareem ‘Biggs’ Burke has teamed up with the New York Knicks to design a 70th Anniversary commemorative limited edition varsity jacket and snapback cap that can only be described as ‘dopeness personified’.  The collection will launch on 01/16/2017 at the NY Knicks vs. ATL Hawks game with only 70 pieces and will be sold exclusively at the Madison Square Garden Team store.

The brand thoughtfully and succinctly describes the collab and apparel with the appropriate veneration that one would expect when dealing with an iconic institution such as the New York Knicks. It goes: “The classic varsity jacket and snapback have undergone a stylish transformation evoking a sense of immense nostalgia. Drawing inspiration from this historic basketball team, the collaboration pays homage with an evocative mix of the team colors: blue, white, and orange. The varsity jacket and snapback are adorned with the Knicks 70th year anniversary and Fourth of November logos. Combining well-crafted textures and fabrics, the jacket features a Melton wool body, 3 x 1 yarn dyed stripe rib, and lamb skin leather sleeves. Incorporating elements from both brands, the sleeves are embroidered with chenille patches representing Fourth of November and the Knicks 1970 and 1973 NBA Championship wins.”

Kareem ‘Biggs’ Burke goes on to say “As a real New Yorker it’s an absolute honor to collaborate with Knicks. I love this city and everything it stands for. The importance of being authentic and credible at a cultural level is the reason why I started Fourth of November, a brand that combines lifestyle and heritage.”

These items are must-haves for any self-respecting Knicks fan but will also serve a higher cause in the closet of anyone that takes style seriously.   The jacket will retail for $350 and the cap will retail for $46.
