Sandra Choi was named as the creative director of global fashion brand Jimmy Choo in 2013. In case you didn’t know, she also happens to be the niece of the company’s founder, Mr. Jimmy Choo himself. Sandra is definitely an innovator and a rule-breaker. At the time of her appointment, Choo said the following: “It’s time to give this place a shake, Jimmy Choo is that sexy, strappy, stiletto thing, but it can be something else, too.” It seemed with that statement, he was encouraging his niece to take a new approach amd try new things.
Well, it’s 2016 now, and from what we are seeing of the new S/S 16 Men’s campaign, some creative risks are definitely being taken. The men’s collection features new silhouettes, bold design details and unexpected colorways. Check out the slides below:
