If you’re a true watch connoisseur, then you already know that Tag Heuer is a respected brand that makes some of the most covetable vintage timepieces on the market. One of the most elusive Heuer releases ever is the hard-to-find Heuer Carrera Skipper that was initially released in the late 60’s. But thanks to Benjamin Clymer, founder of Hodinkee, the Heuer Skipper has been reissued for the current watch market.
The re-issue features a larger diameter than the original (39mm), faceted lugs, sapphire “glassbox” crystal with double anti-reflective coating, and Tag Heuer Caliber 18 movement. It will be available in NATO strap options, a perforated leather, and an optional aged green leather. The entire run is limited to only 125 pieces, so better act fast.
