When it comes to brands that have perfected that “anti-logo,” normcore, minimalist steez, there a few who do it better than Japanese giant, MUJI. They have mastered the art of retail Zen and guilt-free shopping experiences, and now they are spreading that philosophy into the hotel realm.

MUJI recently opened a hotel in Shenzen, and now they are returning to their Japan roots with a sleek and modern hotel in the Ginza‌ region of Tokyo. The new hotel has 79 rooms and takes up the 6th-10th floors of their global flagship store.

There are nine different types of rooms to choose from from guests with some offering twin beds, bunk beds, and large open spaces. This new boutique hotel is also very green-minded with the use of recycled and sustainable materials all through the hotel.
The new MUJI branch in Ginza will open this week, specifically on April 4.
