We are truly impressed with the rapid growth of Maison Kitsuné, undoubtedly one of our favorite menswear brands of the moment. The brand originally hails from France, and they have been able to imbue a quirky, Parisian fashion-forward vibe to all their apparel and accessory offerings. They expertly combine unexpected prints and imaginative plays on their logo and branding to create clothes that are always sharp and stylish, but never too stiff or serious.
Kitsune just opened their 3rd location in Daikanyama, Japan. The stunning new store has two levels and occupies a space of 1500-sq.ft. It boasts a nature-inspired post-and-beam structure, and the architecture draws influences from Tokyo’s iconic Hotel Okura – a prime example of 1960s Japanese modernist design. To add to the aura and ambience of the space, the brand’s founders Gildas Loaec and Masaya Kuroki enlisted the talent of local artisans to place a real emphasis on traditional Japanese craftsmanship.
The exact location of the store and hours are: Maison Kitsuné Daikanyama. 20-14 Sarugakucho, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo. Hours: 11am-8pm, Monday through Sunday
