New Balance has to be the hardest working brand out there – their creativity appears boundless and their thoughtfulness, infinite. They keep (more than frequently) hitting us over the head with extreme dopeness that can really spoil a person. All of a sudden, anything that isn’t New Balance starts to look a little off.
Case in point, for Fall/Winter 2016, New Balance Athletics Inc. will release the MiUK surplus pack to celebrate the brand’s 110th anniversary. This pack ingeniously makes use of surplus materials in some of New balance’s most iconic MiUk styles. The classic models that will be released in the surplus pack are the 1500, 670, 575, 576 and 577 – along with a new silhouette created for the anniversary, the 991.5. Made in Flimby, each silhouette includes sections that have been individually selected from the factory’s most premium surplus material. Every piece marks a different part of New Balance MiUK’s unique history. The New Balance MiUK 991.5 combines the classic 991 upper with a 1500 sole unit.
The Surplus Pack drop 1 releases September 3rd, consisting of M991.5SP, M670SP and M576SP.
The Surplus Pack drop 2 releases September 24th, consisting of M577SP, M1500SP and M575SP.
