We’re almost at the end of October and Halloween is almost here. It seems that a lot of the biggest heavy hitters in rap music waited for the end of the year to release their new albums. Just this Friday alone, a heavy barrage of albums dropped with a range to satisfy all types of rap music lovers. From hardcore underground names like Meyhem Lauren, to recognized names like Young Dro, new school hitters like Ty Dollar Sign, and seekers of greatness like Big KRIT, there’s a lot to listen to. Here is our roundup.

DJ MUGGS X MEYHEM LAUREN – Gems from the Equinox

For those who love hard raps and even harder beats, this is for you. With features from Roc Marciano and Action Bronson, and dark production from DJ Muggs, there is plenty dopeness here for your eardrums.

 YO GOTTI:I STILL AM 

Memphis rapper, Yo Gotti has been on a serious come-up in the last several years. He signed with Roc Nation; he’s dropped albums with Mike Will Made It, and he had a hit this year called “Rake It Up” featuring Nicki Minaj.  YOUNG DRO – DA’ REAL ATLANTA

Young Dro has been a loyal soldier for T.I. and the rest of Atlanta’s Hustle Gang for many years. Fresh off the recent release of his crew’s LP, We Want Smoke, Dro goes for dolo with his new album, Da Real Atlanta. ATL has been on a roll lately as a hit-making HipHop city, and can Young Dro add his name to the list.

TY DOLLA SIGN – BEACH HOUSE 3

Rapper and crooner, Ty Dolla Sign has created a name for himself as a stylish and unique purveyor of hit songs. He’s signed to Wiz Khalifa’s Taylor Gang, and he’s at home performing on street tracks as well as chart-topping pop hits. Check out his new album below:

 BIG KRIT – 4EVA IS A MIGHTY LONG TIME

Mississippi rapper Big K.R.I.T is cut from the same cloth as modern day lyricists like Kendrick Lamar and J.Cole. However, unlike his counterparts, he has never been really able to crack the ceiling to international fame and acclaim. He just released a new double LP – is this finally his time? Check in below:
