Officine Generale F/W 2014
Written by: Geo Hagan

The brand Officine Generale first launched in January 2012, and it has certainly come a long way in a short period of time. Officine Generale is the creation of Pierre Maheo, a designer who gained his experience working at some of the biggest fashion houses in Paris and Italy. Their clothes are marked by their distinct utilitarian and military-inspired details – and there is also a specific attention that’s paid to the comfort and longevity of each item.

The collection for Fall/Winter 2014 is perfect for that downtown NYC professional who’s also a dedicated world traveler. We see a sensible assortment of top coats in luxe fabrics, leathers with inventive silhouettes, anoraks crafted from tech fabrics, handsome suiting, well-fitting knits and also some denim pieces. This is a collection that could completely stock a wardrobe proving that Mr. Maheo is certainly a thinking man’s designer.
