Every so often, we like to go back to brands we’ve featured in the past to keep up with the fine new products they’re putting out. One of our favorites was 3Sixteen, the selvedge denim bastion in NYC’s Lower East Side. We were happy to find out that 3Sixteen recently got together with heritage leather jacket maker, Schott to create a really special piece. The new collab biker jacket is a sleeker version of the classic Perfecto piece created by Irving Schott in 1928. It features a slightly elongated body and slimmer, attenuated arms for a rugged, fitted look. Here are some other key features of the jacket you need to know about.
– It’s made from premium naked cowhide with an attractive sheen and soft hand feel.
– It is lined with raw Japanese selvedge chambray fabric – perfect for all-season wear.
– The jacket features a custom leather patch sewn into the lining commemorating this fresh collab.
– For the perfect finishing touch, it features custom sterling silver snaps created by the talented artisan, Josh Warner of Good Art HLYWD. Each snap is then boiled in sulfur to give it a unique gunmetal finish.
This is true American quality craftsmanship in action. Each jacket is hand cut and sewn in Schott’s family-owned manufacturing facility in New Jersey. There were only 100 units made of this, so you better act fast if you want to get one. Inquire at their website here.
