It’s not too early to start thinking about gifting season. With that in mind, a new book would be a perfect choice to consider getting for your sneakerhead buddy. Penguin Random House’s convenient recently dropped SNEAKERS, to merely capitalize on the billion dollar sneaker culture movement – It’s easy to tell this book idea was cooked up in the boardroom. They brought together a couple of skilled crafty wordsmiths (Alex French and Howie Kahn) along with a cool designer (Rodrigo Corral) to add an excellent eye-catching layout to this 300+ page tabletop book. It’s a collection of noteworthy stories from some of the today’s and yesterday’s sneaker culture creators, makers and influencers. I wouldn’t say it’s a “definitive collection” as the press release suggest – the publishers do a good job co-opting sneaker culture – but still is a worthy keepsake for any sneakerhead.
