New Balance has proven itself to be a consistent supplier of fresh new flavor for the athletically-inclined. Every month or so, there is a new drop coming from them, and this time around, they hooked up with the San Francisco Bag maker Timbuk2 for a very collectible, cycling-inspired capsule.
The pieces consists of the following:
– The New Balance C-Series CM600C – This was designed in the NB lifestyle studio in Tokyo. It is created to be an urban cycling shoe, and it has a streamlined silhouette with reflective laces and high-density rubber on the front portion of the shoe. It’s lightweight and inherently durable – perfect for miles and miles of cycle commuting. It retails for $119.95.
– New Balance C-Series Sling: An excellent carryall for the city cyclist, this bag can be worn either right or left handed. It also has a highly reflective panel, and provides each phone access and laptop/tablet protection for the rider. It’s made from the same tough materials as the CM600C Sneaker. It retails for $158.
– Timbuk2 x New Balance C-Series Backpack ($198) – If you’re an avid cyclist, this is definitely the backpack you need to own. It has a roomy storage area that will easily carry your helmet, U-Lock and all your tech gadgets. It also boasts reflective paneling, Tricot-lined stash pocket, and a perforated air mesh back panel for air circulation and easier carrying.
