Vision-Air (Arthur Huang) Sustainable Design
Architect Arthur Huang has created sustainable air-inspired packaging to go along with his all-black Air Max 1 FK Royal (a collab with NikeLab) that marries utilitarian solutions with wearable design and storage. The stackable/interlocking packaging is primarily made of post-consumer materials such as milk containers, orange juice containers, coffee can lids, etc. using a single polypropylene process with no added chemicals.
The sneakers and stackable packaging installation (“Stackable Air”) will be available at INVINCIBLE in Taiwan on March 23rd and globally on later dates.
It is really refreshing to see consumer brands embracing the concept of sustainable environmental impact and recognizing that the ecosystem is affected in many ways by consumers but also realizing that the cure to this is also in their hands.
