We all know Richard Branson as the billionaire mogul and entrepreneur behind the formidable Virgin Group. He is a trendsetter who has dabbled in almost all the major industries; music, transportation, mobile technology etc. Today, we are happy to tell you about the first ever Virgin Hotel. It’s based in Chicago and its now fully open for guests to enjoy.
The new Virgin Hotel is located right in the middle of the city’s action – smack dab in the center of Chicago’s Loop district. It is exquisitely located in a 26-story Art Deco building and boasts 250 lavishly designed guest rooms. This total tally includes 40 one-bedroom suites and 2 luxurious penthouse suites. Other key highlights of this boutique hotel include The Common’s Club, a stylish communal space where guests can dine, drink and mingle. The menu for the Common’s Club is orchestrated by Chef Rick Gresh and it features delicacies like lobster flatbread and succulent Ribeye served with bone marrow mac-n-cheese.
There is also an inviting rooftop club & lounge area called Cerise where guests can dance and party the night away. There is a lot to love here and the next step in the Virgin hospitality evolution will be a new hotel opening in Nashville come 2016.
