Wings + Horns’ Fall/Winter 2015 collection is an exercise in modern wearability.  The lookbook is shot with an industrial subterranean twist that fosters thoughts of nuclear plants and manmade hard assets.  The grays of the background mesh with the browns, grays and blacks of the clothes creating a symbiotic connection that is both a little confusing and progressive.  Parkas, bomber jackets, sleek pants and knits aggregate sometimes seamlessly and sometimes forcibly into a beautiful collection by the Canadian brand.  The collection titled “Contact Light” accentuates the vastness of the earth but also touches on the themes of a moon landing with glimpses of what looks like the interior of a spaceship.  All in all, the collection wins with pieces that would work well in a contemporary closet of most men although very little risk is taken with the ensembles.  We do believe Wings + Horns is here to stay because the brand has picked a spot in menswear that will forever have appeal.
