Japanese label founded by designer Sayatomo Yashiki presents a Fall/Winter 2019 lookbook that thoroughly blurs the lines between feminine and masculine. This is not done in a weird or stereotypical manner but rather in a “why do you think gender has to be separated” way. The clothes are comfortable, stylish and accented with little details that don’t rattle any dogmatic cages. Although there is a clear mature tilt to the collection, there is enough room for youthful interpretation. the subdued color palette (albeit with some bright hue bursts) evokes a need for warmth and the yearning for existential purpose that every human experiences.
